Mobility Sensing becomes partner of DMI ecosystem

As partner, Mobility Sensing actively participates in the Dutch Metropolitan Innovations (DMI) ecosystem, a collaborative initiative that involves businesses, knowledge institutes, G40 and G4 municipalities, provinces and the Ministries of Infrastructure and Water Management and the Interior and Kingdom Relations, all operating under a unified Agreement System. Leveraging our IoT sensor technology, we generate live actionable data on city streets. Our data provide cities with live insight into traffic volumes and speeds on their streets, temperatures and surface conditions of the street surface, quality and temperature of the air in their streets, etc. etc.

The DMI-ecosystem is made possible through the support of the National Growth Fund and concentrates on smart and sustainable urbanization and mobility innovation. It introduces novel digital tools to the domains of mobility, public spaces and housing. The DMI ecosystem serves as a public-private platform that interconnects data, information, knowledge, products, services, and policies within the physical realm. This synergy between technology, policy, individuals and investments enables companies to develop intelligent solutions and deploy them on a broader scale and at an accelerated pace. Consequently, municipalities attain a deeper understanding of their urban functionality and can utilize this knowledge to make sustainable decisions in collaboration with residents and companies.

Data sharing and reuse within the DMI-ecosystem occurs in a socially responsible and secure manner facilitated, among other things, through a centralized Products and Services catalog that grants access to a comprehensive array of  products, data and knowledge.  For more information, see DMI website.
