Apeldoorn lights up

The map of Apeldoorn lights up! Yesterday and today, StreetSense from Mobility Sensing is being rolled out in the Municipality of Apeldoorn. Once installed, the StreetSense devices immediately provide live data on the condition and usage of the streets in Apeldoorn. The Municipality of Apeldoorn will use this data for a wide range of use cases. For example, the data will be used to monitor traffic patterns before, during, and after area development, monitor recreational and cut-through traffic in the outskirts, assess the impact of freight traffic in the city centre, and much more.
